Printbase Textiles was established in 2009 in response to market demand for a dedicated supplier of printable textiles for the digital printing industry.
We offer an extensive range of fabrics in finishes suitable for eco solvent, full solvent, latex, dye sublimation paper transfer, dye sublimation direct and UV cure printing options.

Our entire product range is produced at our factory in Bellville South, Cape Town by highly skilled technicians with many years of textile production experience.
We import filament and spun polyester yarns from which we create warp beams. These are then warp knitted into greige fabric on state of the art Karl Mayer knitting machines. Next the greige fabric moves to our finishing department where the optically white colour is introduced through padding and the base fabrics are heat set.
Thereafter desired finishes for dye sub paper transfer, dye sub direct, UV, Latex or eco solvent printing are applied either by padding or coating. After finishing the fabric moves to our inspection department where we conduct a one hundred percent inspection of every metre we produce. Faults are cut out, selvedges are trimmed to perfection, the rolls are slit to the desired length and are packaged. Finally the finished rolls are sent to our warehouse to await dispatching to our customers.
